When the pandemic started, I worked from home for a year and was isolated from the rest of the world and found that I really enjoyed that. My dog Sasha became my service dog and was always by my side and provided the comfort I needed. When COVID ended and we return to the new norm, my anxiety went through the roof, my tolerance level was at an all-time low, my blood pressure was going up daily alo
ng with other age-old health issues. I lost touch with people that were important to me and I couldn’t quite make it back to the way it used to be. I was a wreck. People suggested I do something that I enjoyed. I could not think of anything but sleep and looking at Pinterest. When Spring came, I noticed I needed a new door wreath. I got some ideas from Pinterest and suddenly, I was excited and coming up with new ideas. After watching a few videos, I found my calling. I started making rag wreaths for gifts. My husband and I started going to flea markets, craft stores and fabric shops. When I sold my first creation. I was so excited. Over the next couple of months, I found that my anxiety level had dropped, not just at home but at work too. I was happy again. I hurried home to work on my new projects. Thus,Wags2Wreaths was born.
