This was the first time I had to fix a clear float on cherry cabinets. The area around the handles was down to raw wood. We had the stain color matched by Accessa Marketplace and Solutions, they did a great job as always. Then we sanded the doors and stripped the wood raw all the way around the rails. We stained them and then clear coated them with a catalyzed water based Renner product. They turned out perfect! 😍

It is good to push yourself to try new things. Never stop developing your skill sets.

The whole second floor of this Fox Chapel home got a trim package upgrade and new floors. We painted all 4 bedrooms and the hallway with staircase. It turned out beautiful! Another happy client.

I met this client at the Pittsburgh Home and Garden Show, they told me about the bad paint job the last painter did on their island. The paint was sticky and peeling off! They asked me to come redo his work. It turned out great and they are very happy! 😃

The key to using the Meoded metallic paint by Sherwin-Williams for Design Pros is to build on layers. The more layers the more metallic it got. I used a 1/4” nap after testing spraying it with HVLP and brushing. Client is very excited and we nailed her vision of green leaves 🍃 .

This is a metallic paint now offered by Sherwin-Williams the brand is Meoded. You can get metallics in any color!!! Meoded offers a line of faux finish products as-well.
My client chose a metallic green as her inspiration is the green leaves 🍃.

A lot of professional decorators use something called scrim tape over cracks before filling to help stop them coming back.

Recurring cracks tend to come back because of movement. Filler alone doesn’t prevent that movement, so you think you’ve made a good repair, only for the crack to reappear a few days, weeks, or even months after you've finished decorating.

Scrim tape is a sticky mesh that bridges both sides of the crack, helping to hold them together and reduce further movement. It’s a simple solution, but it works well.
