** BOUTS OF RAIN RETURN TO THE STATE ON THURSDAY **

A low-pressure system will move into the state tomorrow, bringing rounds of rain through the morning (western PA) and into the afternoon & evening (central & eastern PA). Overall, there will be two maxima of potential 1"+ amounts, in the Pittsburgh region and across southeastern Pennsylvania. Northwestern PA misses the bulk of the rain, while south-central Pennsylvania may see a classic dry slot with drier air downsloping over the Laurel Highlands.

⚠️NOTE: Areas of thunderstorms may lead to localized higher amounts of 2 to 4 inches, especially in southeastern Pennsylvania and anywhere else a thunderstorm develops. These are "smoothed" amounts and the map DOES not account for individual thunderstorm convection. Flash flooding may occur in spots that receive 2"+ of rain in a short period of time.

We are going to be cutting late like we have all the past 2 weeks to get caught up. Mother Nature is making making us taking longer on each lawn due to the grass and ground still wet. The grass never gross this fast in August usually this time of year they are dried up and trying to re couple from heat stress. All this rain is Making each lawn take longer than usually we are. We are making sure with some hill terrain we have good traction so we do not end up sliding or muddying lawns. We are making sure lawns are doubled or even triple passsed so they look nice and clean. Blowing out and re edging. We are working late in between the wetather this past 2 weeks and will continue to do so. Recorded setting rain for August over 6 inches of rain and again more rain crazy another 2 inches. We will be out until Mother Nature and the lawns say we can’t cut until after.

Ps it’s driving us nuts as well we just want to cut alll the lawns and not have to deal with the wet conditions.

The heaviest rain will be Thursday morning south of Pittsburgh.

In all the years running our landscape business have we had over 5 inches of rain to start the month especially August. This is the month were we are trying to have lawns recover from heat stress. We will be back out maintaining lawn and projects.

We got quite a few lawns done before and during the 1st down pour. Taking a break during the this rain front and will continue services on lawns we know that will not rut or mud.

To our loyal clients
Thank you for being patient during all this rain we are catching up as fast as we can with the weather we will get everyone done. Last day of storms till later in the week. With amount of rain we are taking extra time on each lawn due to the ground saturation.

With lots of heavy rain we will do lawn we feel that we will be ok lots of ground saturation with the heavy rains we had.
We will resume schedule and projects accordingly

We are postponing the rest of services due to the hazardous air quality. It is real thick trying to breath the air today . With that being said
We did what we could today in these conditions. For healthy and safety we will resume after the air quality improves.
