I’ve wanted to finish writing this post for way too long!
Sometimes, it’s just hard to put a pen to paper, if you know what I mean. I’ve always been interested in this niche but it was always “for fun” or to help out a friend or family member. I never took myself seriously and for way too long - 10 years! - this interest of mine always sat on the back burner. It was an outlet and a stress reliever, when I had time, which was rare. If you had posed the idea of ME starting a business, I would have laughed in your face! I never pictured something like that for myself. And I was so afraid to fail. Because that sucks! But the more thought and attention I devoted, I couldn’t stop thinking about how it made me happy. Because it’s work I deeply enjoy. Every single one of us deserves to enjoy the work that we carry out in this one single life that we have. It’s all a labor of love! But I wouldn’t trade it for anything. There’s so much room for potential in your home, and there’s an endless array of colors and patterns to bring new life into it - and I love helping people discover that, finding a new love for the space they’re in. I’ve learned so much in two years - every project has taught me something about the craft and about myself, and I have welcomed it all in order to strive to put forth my best work. I don’t know what the future holds, but what I do know is I’m thankful to love doing what I’m doing in this moment.
