Exciting news. The newest addition to Pittsburgh’s ethnic tapestry is the Nepali/Bhutanese population that has developed in the South Hills along the Route 51 corridor—there’s a stretch with markets and delicious restaurants.

They are ready to start building institutions, and as of today I’m the architect for a brand new social hall/community center/worship space that this organization is working on. Due diligence phase, so no details yet, but this is a big one. Can’t wait to dig in and learn many new things!

This morning featured a site visit to the County Airport, where I’ll be working on either refurbishing a 1962 hangar or designing a brand new one.

Regardless, I will NOT be working on the immaculate Hornbostel terminal building.
