Working alongside the Boys & Girls Club in Youngstown, Ohio, our fir delivered strategic interior and exterior renovations focused on daylight, safety, and flexibility. New exterior windows replace glass blocks to bring natural light into program spaces, while a vaulted game room ceiling and updated finishes create a brighter, more welcoming environment.

Located at The Vision on 15th in The Strip District, ATI’s workspace showcases how materials science and design innovation can merge to shape a more dynamic workplace.

A gradient of perforations and convergence of finish materials highlight ATI’s acceleration, growth, and ongoing advancements in metals and technology.

At the entry, visitors are welcomed by a custom architectural metal feature which is an abstract interpretation of ATI’s logo crafted from ATI’s own materials. The design of the new space emphasized ATI’s commitment to utilizing materials science in solving the world’s challenges.

The space supports a free-address working model, offering staff flexible, activity-based environments designed for how they collaborate best which has create an environment that has successfully brought employees back into the office.

NEXT architecture partnered with Hope Gas to design their 35,000-sf office space in the Allied Health Innovation Center in Morgantown, WV.
From a state-of-the-art boardroom to an elevated control center, this workplace blends innovation, brand identity, and purposeful design.
Architectural forms and textures were thoughtfully designed the “cut through” the ceilings, symbolizing the gas lines Hope Gas monitors across 35 West Virigina counties.
Hope Gas is the true embodiment of a modern workplace built for collaboration, productivity, and the future of energy.

A 33rd-floor renovation that captures panoramic city views while supporting a nationally recognized energy law practice. The workplace integrates private offices, open workstations, conference rooms, lounges and a spacious café that promotes transparency, collaboration, and a strong brand presence.

🔵Frost Brown Todd – Union Trust Building

A modern, 8,400 sf environment featuring a secure conference center, glass-front private offices for enhanced daylight, and a central café designed to foster community and future growth

🔵Bernstein – Burkley – 601 Grant Street

A cohesive two-story fit-out defined by uninterrupted linear forms, dramatic recessed lighting, custom window film, and bright, connected work zones with commanding city views.

NEXT architecture partnered with Carnegie Mellon University to enhance Newell Simon Hall’s robotics facilities into a vibrant hub for innovation. The renovation brings together faculty, graduate students, and researchers in bright open spaces, designed for collaboration and discovery.

From the cantilevered glass conference room overlooking the robotics highbay to flexible lab environments powered by overhead reels and Starline busways, every detail supports creativity and experimentation.

Premier Custom Paint & Collision partnered with NEXT architecture to create a modern facility that reflects the precision and style of the high-performance vehicles they service.

The expanded Zelienople location features new work bays, a showroom, offices, and specialized spaces all wrapped in a refined mix of metal panels, bricks, and glass.

This project culminated in a bold, new home for a brand built on craftsmanship along Zelienople’s Main Street.

Emerging at the start of Covid, Diamond Ridge was designed to challenge what an office building can be. With design elements that invite the outdoors inside, Diamond Ridge successfully transforms from a standalone workplace into a vibrant connector of community, nature, and innovation.

Located along the Parkway West Corridor, Diamond Ridge dissolves the boundaries between work, community, and landscape. The campus is the keystone of an expansive 780-acre mixed-use development known as the Market Place District which is surrounded by the Montour Trail. The development features sports courts along with a mile-long loop path that connects to the popular pedestrian/bike experience.

These features are designed to pull people to the outdoors to engage with the much larger master-planned development that provides basic needs in the nearby areas : townhomes and apartments, hotels, senior living, a daycare, shopping, and dining.

The interior of Diamond Ridge is complimentary to its surrounding landscape. Common spaces are populated with living hanging plants, an open-air cafe, and an abundance of natural light.

Diamond Ridge is not just a building - it is a statement about the future of work : flexible, connected, and deeply rooted in place.

NEXT architecture partnered with The Speckled Egg to bring a fresh and welcoming dining experience to life inside the iconic Union Trust Building in downtown Pittsburgh.
This 5,000-sf buildout features a bright counter-service area, cozy seating, a grab-n-go coffee counter, along with a full-service bar. Inspired by the Union Trust’s historic interiors and natural themes, the design utilizes cork, brass, and greenery for a warm and inviting atmosphere.
Whether you’re stopping by for brunch, coffee on the go, or a cocktail after work, The Speckled Egg is a spot where design and dining come together to honor its historical roots while introducing fresh updates that are designed to enhance the beauty of the Union Trust Building.

Rize Sports is raising the game.

NEXT architecture partnered with Rize Sports to design a world-class basketball facility that sets a new standard for youth athletics. Built to NCAA design specifications with hardwood courts rivaling NBA arenas, the complex was created to attract regional and national tournaments for high-school athletes.

Beyond the courts, the facility was designed with the full experience in mind:

-A commercial kitchen serving locally sourced food and beverages
-A welcoming cafe and lounge seating area for families and spectators
-Spaces to relax, recharge, and stay connected between games

This project reflects NEXT’s commitment to designing sports and recreation facilities that maximize performance, enhance community, and create lasting impact.
