That project was the perfect reminder that a simple closet reset can make all the difference before the school year begins. Removing outgrown clothes, organizing by type and color, and creating an easy-to-maintain system can help make busy mornings feel a little less hectic.

School will be here before we know it! 📚🍎

The weeks leading up to a new school year can feel like a whirlwind. Between school supplies, new schedules, sports, and activities, it’s easy for the house to start feeling a little chaotic.

Over the next week, I’ll be sharing one simple organizing tip each day to help make the transition back to school a little less stressful. 🤍

Day 1: Create a “Launch Pad.” 🎒

Choose one spot near the door for:
• Backpacks
• Lunch boxes
• Water bottles
• Shoes

Having one designated home for the everyday essentials can make busy mornings so much smoother.

A closer look at the closet and drawers after we added matching hangers, color-coordinated everything, and created simple systems to make staying organized easy.

✨ Full Child’s Room Reset 🤍

This room was ready for a fresh start! We tackled everything from clothing, drawers, toys, and the closet to create a space that’s simple, functional, and easy to maintain.

✨ Purged clothing that no longer fit (goodbye 3T, hello 4T & 5T!)
✨ Sorted every item into my signature Keep • Give Away • Throw Away system
✨ Donated outgrown clothes and age-inappropriate toys
✨ Organized drawers so he can easily see what he has
✨ Refreshed toy bins and created easy-to-reach systems for everyday use
✨ Cleaned and reset the entire room

This is just Part 1… the closet transformation is coming next, and I can’t wait to share it with you!
