An update on the new build! We have officially started the metal roof and siding! The metal order was incomplete so we are at a standstill waiting on the Hammond delivery! It’s been a productive week here’s a look at a few of things we have been doing. Including the demo of two closets, a hearth and a section of the hardwood floor. We installed a new linen/laundry nook, a pantry, new hardwood flooring and some drywall!! We sanded the hardwood floor and the trim around the skylights now we are ready to apply the polyurethane and paint out the living room and kitchen!!

Here is another project we have been diligently working on, this beautiful home off the rocky shore of Southwest Harbor. It was in need of some maintenance work on all of the shutters, some power washing and fresh stain. All of the skylights were in rough shape and needed some heavy sanding to bring that wood back to life! With a little elbow grease we managed to make them look fresh and new by adding Waterlox Marine sealer and satin finish!! Inside there was a little leak over the winter that we patched up and repaired as well!

We have been busy this spring bouncing from one project to the next and I haven’t rememberd to post our work. Here is a look at the decks we power washed and sealed on MDI last month!! The home owners are very pleased with the results. Thanks again to the Kale family for their continued business!!
