Treads, riser & skirt board replacements

I gotta say we honestly thought this job was going to be easier then what it actually ended up being in this 18th century house with rebuilding this staircase!! Ive realized over the years when you think something is going to be simple its never just that simple but when you think something difficult will end up hard it ends up easy!! With that being said here are some beautiful before and after photos of this stair case we had to tear out and rebuild from scratch with new step plates and risers. We also added new skirt boards on each side. The step plates are red oak that were stained and sealed with polyurethane. The risers are a factory white finish
