A little TLC can completely transform a property! 🌿

We recently gave this Kingston property a much-needed tune-up by pulling w**ds, trimming overgrown bushes and trees, redefining all the landscape beds with fresh edges, applying a pre-emergent w**d control to help keep future w**ds at bay, and finishing everything off with a fresh layer of brown mulch.

Another transformation in the books! We removed a large overgrown hedge that had outgrown the space and completely opened up this backyard. With the hedge gone, the property feels much larger, brighter, and ready for whatever the homeowners have planned next.

We finished by rough grading the area, leaving it prepped for the next phase of the project. It’s always amazing how removing the right trees or shrubs can completely change the look and feel of a property.

Another storm damage job in the books! 🌲

We safely removed a storm-damaged hemlock along with a neighboring hemlock at the homeowner’s request, then ground both stumps and left the property clean and ready for its next chapter.

Another retaining wall saved the right way. 💪

This wall had suffered a major failure due to improper installation techniques. Instead of simply patching the problem, we completely disassembled the failed section, salvaged and reused the existing wall block to help keep the homeowner’s costs down, and rebuilt it from the ground up the way it should have been done the first time.

Our rebuild included:
✔️ Proper excavation and a stable base
✔️ A clean drainage stone backfill with adequate drainage to relieve hydrostatic pressure
✔️ Geogrid reinforcement to tie the wall back into the hillside for long-term stability
✔️ Careful reconstruction of the existing vinyl fence after the wall was completed

The result is a retaining wall that’s not only straight and visually appealing, but built to withstand the test of time.
