🍅 Tomato season is here… apparently 😏

We just got a beautiful shipment of tomatoes in, and yes… it does feel a little early. But hey—if the big box stores are putting them out already, we figured we better keep up with our corporate competitors 😉

That said… let’s be honest:
Planting tomatoes right now is a bit of a gamble.

Will they thrive?
Will we get another cold snap?
Are we all just being overly optimistic?

Maybe all of the above 😂

But if you’re feeling brave (or just excited for summer like we are), come grab some and take your chances. We’ve got some really healthy, happy starts ready to go 🌱

Guess what?? Local historians rallied together, raised the funds, and got the permit to CLOSE THE STREET in Placerville for the Highway 50 Wagon Train’s arrival!!! June 6, 2026, 9-4-Spread the word-they are looking for appropriate vendors to attend…(info in comments) It’s gna be a rootin tootin good time!

Do you love plants, fresh air, and being part of something beautiful? The Meadow is looking for someone to join our garden team.

This role is best for someone who:
• Has flexible hours and can work weekends
• Can lift bags of soil and move heavy plants
• Doesn’t mind getting their hands dirty (weeding included 🌱)
• Is upbeat, friendly, and enjoys helping people
• Is not limited by school hours
• Has been to The Meadow and understands it’s a place of love, beauty, and kindness
•Plant knowledge is a huge plus

Working here means being part of a peaceful place where people come for inspiration, connection, and a little magic in the garden.
