Historically hardware stores have often been designated " general stores" filling a variety of needs for the community. In 2016 we grew once again, putting a twist on a modern general store, as "Water Street" opened, named after the address of our first store in Wilmington, Illinois, in 1896. It is our goal to provide our communities a unique selection of inspiring and delightful items for your home and lifestyle. Perhaps we can once again return to a time when a trip to the hardware store was a family event.
