☕✨ From an Outdated Built-In Desk to a Beautiful Coffee Bar! ✨☕

What started as a bulky built-in desk became one of our favorite transformations!

This project involved much more than just hanging a couple of shelves.

🔨 We:
✔️ Removed the existing upper cabinets and desk
✔️ Removed old wallpaper and adhesive
✔️ Repaired damaged drywall
✔️ Closed in the old intercom opening
✔️ Relocated electrical for a cleaner layout
✔️ Primed, patched, sanded, and painted until the wall looked like it had always been that way
✔️ Installed sturdy floating shelves ready to be styled

The final image shows the vision for the completed coffee bar once everything is decorated—a warm, inviting space where family and friends can gather for that first cup of coffee each morning.

This is why we love what we do. It’s not just about repairing homes—it’s about helping homeowners reimagine how they live in them.

• Assisting with bathroom remodels (3-story home)
• Carrying materials & debris up/down stairs
• General labor / demo help
• Must be able to handle multiple flights of stairs

⏰ Hours: 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM
📍 Meet near Plainwell / travel to job site
💵 $16/hour – paid daily

✅ Must show up ON TIME
✅ Must be ready to WORK
✅ Basic construction experience is a plus, but not required

I sincerely hope that everyone remained safe last night amidst the high winds, tornadoes, and storms. Fortunately, the utility companies appear to be on top of the situation. Initially, approximately 40,000 households were without power, but the latest update indicates that this number has decreased to around 29,000. I am located in the vicinity of Plainwell, and according to the most recent information, about 330 households in the area are still affected. Hopefully, power will be restored soon, and I wish everyone a swift recovery. Please persevere, and I offer my best wishes for everyone's safety. One last thing, please be aware of any downed power lines and report them to Consumers Energy. Additionally, you can contact Consumers Energy or log in to their website to obtain the latest estimated time for power restoration in your area.

This is why your bathroom still feels old… even after you “clean” it 👇

It’s not just what you see — it’s what’s behind it.

This bathroom had:
❌ An outdated tub taking up space
❌ An exhaust fan packed with dust (barely working)
❌ Dim lighting making everything feel dull

So we went to work.

🚿 Converted the tub into a clean, modern walk-in shower
🔧 Tore into the exhaust fan and cleaned it out properly
💡 Swapped in brighter lighting to bring the whole room to life

Now it’s:
✔️ Open
✔️ Bright
✔️ Actually functional

And here’s the truth most people miss…

A good job fixes the problem.
A great job fixes what you didn’t even know was a problem.
