We are anticipating another round of strong this evening, it’s important to make sure your family and property are ready!

Follow Michigan Storm Chasers for live updates.

✅ Charge phones, flashlights, and backup battery packs

✅ Secure patio furniture, trampolines, and loose outdoor items

✅ Park vehicles away from large trees if possible (a large open field or parking lot is ideal!)

✅ Secure garbage cans

✅ Stock up on water, batteries, and essential food

✅ Find a safe shelter location for your family

✅ Inspect trees around your home for dead limbs, hanging branches, or trees leaning toward structures

Many storm related damages are caused by weakened or overgrown trees. Preventative trimming and removal can significantly reduce the risk of damage to your home, vehicles, and power lines.

For those asking. As it stands currently, this is our severe weather outlook for Thursday, June 11th which is tomorrow night. We will update it tomorrow morning for you based on latest our thoughts.

For the time being, tomorrow looks like a volatile environment will be in place. Significant wind gusts over 75mph and several embedded tornadoes are on the table across much of the state with the highest concern in the Orange zone.

We expect a nasty squall line to move into much of lower Michigan after 7pm.
