Update, unfortunately we lost the property and home we were trying to purchase. The good news is that we have a buyer for our current property and location. We just have to find a place we can move too that is suitable for us. At this time, we are still temporarily closed until further notice. We are contemplating on rather we will only take just a few general service jobs in this spring and play out each month as things go. If we do take some jobs in, there would only be just a few openings. If we find a new location, we are a shop that schedules out work 4 to 6 weeks during are busy spring season. I definitely do not want to be that guy that has to call people and tell them, hey we are moving and I have 30 days to move, I am not going to be able to work on your machine that you scheduled with me last month. As far as big jobs like engine swaps and engine work or rear end work, we will not be taking those in until we move into a new shop. We are still not taking in any handheld power equipment, like trimmers, leaf blowers or chain saws. I will post another update when we know more what direction we will be allowed to go under our current situation. I appreciate everyone's time and patience as this process has been a struggle bus for us to get to our new and final location.

Just following up with everyone, I am still closed for the moment. My current location is up for sale, and I have located some land. In a perfect world if everything goes to plan, I will be moving in 2026 and building a bigger shop. Since I opened my doors in 2022 my business has grown more each year and 2025 was amazing!
Before shutting down in October to get the ball rolling with this move, my business was up 20% with new customers and was amazing! considering I had stepped away from working on handheld outdoor equipment in 2023, due to most of this equipment made today is made to be disposable, unless you buy Stihl or Echo. Not everyone wants to make the investment in buying those brands. I made the decision with most of the brands I was working on like Craftsman, Poulan, or other lower line handheld equipment, it wasn't in the customers best interest or myself as a technician to repair these machines with my shop hourly rate and parts when you could for a few dollars more.. just buy a new unit. I replaced the portable handheld equipment with residential zero turns and that took off and has been a great addition to my service and repair. I will continue to update this page as I know more my future in this coming year. Rays would like to say THANK YOU! to everyone's business the last 3 yrs and supporting me that recommend me to friends, family, and to my loyal customers I see every year for service and repair. I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a happy new year. May 2026 be a great year for everyone, and we will see everyone sooner than hopefully later.

I am writing to inform my valued customers that my shop will be temporarily shutting down due to family-related circumstances. Furthermore, we are considering a potential relocation to a new site in the near future. I will keep everyone informed as I navigate this transition and look forward to resuming my commitment to providing exceptional repairs and services that meet the high standards my customers have come to expect.

I have completed the necessary adjustments to the valves on this old flathead Tecumseh engine on this Toro powerclear. Over time the clearance gets tighter and they develop a misfire and snapback when you start them. I have installed a new headgasket and drilled the jets in the carburetor one size over. She is now ready to blow snow ❄️

I have had the question asked which is a good residential zero turn to buy. I can honestly say I see less of these Toros come in the shop for repairs other than routine maintenance and service. I see more Husqvarna, Cub Cadet and even John Deere for serious Mechanical repairs. But again like anything, how one maintains the equipment is a huge factor.

This is a lawnmower I resurrected after it had been sitting for 20 yrs. Do not be afraid to repair old equipment sitting around. We can still get parts for a lot of these old machines out there. Sometimes it can be a waiting process due to supply chain, and the parts are more expensive, but a lot of these old machines are built better and will out last the newer equipment you buy today.

Why is my shop advanced? There are 2 types of mechanics out there. Parts changers and mechanics that know how to troubleshoot a problem. I have over 30 years of experience working on small engines and lawn & garden applications. I was trained by some of the best out there, and have had the schooling and graduated to become the best version myself at what I do. Being a parts changer is not a option in my shop.
