Q: Can I install my pergola on a deck?
A: Absolutely!
However, for safety and long-term stability, we do not recommend mounting pergola posts directly onto deck boards alone. Our pergolas weigh over 500 lbs and must be properly supported to withstand wind and weather over time.

🔨 Best Practice:
For maximum strength and durability, we recommend anchoring the pergola to concrete footings beneath each post location.

If you're installing on an existing deck:
• Remove the deck boards where the posts will sit
• Pour concrete footings beneath each post
• Add additional support framing if needed
• Allow the concrete to fully cure
• Reinstall the deck boards
• Install the pergola on top

This method helps ensure optimal stability, wind resistance, and long-term performance for years to come.
