For those of you in South Florida with tomato, eggplant and pepper plants, do your preventive fungicides spray ASAP. 2 days of rain is a sure thing for fungus on these plants. Make sure to cover over and under the leaves and down the stem to the soil line.
I like Southern Ag liquid copper fungicide, 1/2 to 1 Tablespoon per gallon of water, and a little squeeze of castile soap as a spreader.

This is how I amend my raised bed every year.
Base is leftover Promix BX from replenished Earthboxes. I first loosen it up since it has compacted over the summer. Then a layer of compost, and a sprinkle of 10-10-10 fertilizer, 2 bags of Aldi Potting soil since I had it. Then 2 cups of dolomitic lime for this 4' X 10' bed, and finally 1/2 bale of sphagnum peat. Mix all with a shovel, smooth with a rake, and plant.
