Landscaping works best when each part of the yard is planned for how it will grow and how the property is actually used. Before adding plants or reshaping a bed, consider sun exposure, water movement, mature plant size, access to gates and walkways, and how much maintenance the area will need over time.
In South Florida, a bed can become crowded quickly if plants are spaced only for how they look on installation day. We consider the finished appearance, but also room for growth, clear transitions, and a layout that stays practical to maintain. A well-planned refresh does not need to be a major renovation to make the property feel more organized and easier to care for.
