It’s surreal to be finally leaving Utah. I am moving back to California after more than 15 or 16 years.
I am grateful to all the people I have met in Pleasant Grove and Salt Lake City in the last two years that have been an oasis of strength to allow me to heal.
I am grateful for those that have mentored me and encouraged me to follow through on ideas I generate so freely. I have the spark of creativity and imagination that others have helped me hone into a fire of ability and passion.
I am grateful to those that granted me perspective. That provided alternative views to data and information I had seen and experienced. Allowing me to restructure my beliefs and habits to fit a more complete understanding of reality.
I will be moving to Nevada City, Ca in pursuit of broadening my community ties to people of like values. Surrounded by trees, art, dance, and amazing people in a scenic former mining town that sprung up a strong community of creatives and producers.
I will be pursuing a path where I will use a variety of skills in management, marketing, and creative entrepreneurship to not only establish my handyman business, but to also expand other ventures with friends in the area.
The community is a mix between elderly retirees and young creatives. Giving a fun diversity of the young and experienced that need my skills.
Speaking with future neighbors, local business owners, and the local chamber of commerce I already have potential clients ready for me to move to the area.
I will be moving in the beginning of August! I hope to have a chance to say goodbye to my Utah friends! If it’s been a while since we have seen each other and you want to hang out before I am gone be sure to send me a message!
Best Regards,
Mike
