For this week’s , it’s another good one from Florence. There was no shortage of checkered floor tiles, but there were also other unique options like this one that I came across in a cute little coffee shop.

I love the colors in this tile and it’s basically my design brand and clothing color palette 🤎🩵🧡.

Not quite a complete before and after, but these progress shots are getting close to complete 🙌.

Check out the before shots of this bathroom we designed virtually (clients are based in Florida). It’s now such a dream bathroom sanctuary with an in-home sauna, freestanding tub and beautiful new shower.

Ah September… the start of the ‘ber months and cozy season. I’m looking forward to the change in season (although it’s going to be 96 degrees where I live tomorrow).

This month calls for more normalcy and routine, school is back in session and cozy nights at home are what it’s all about.

I saw a quote recently that said something like “I hate leaving the house except when it’s to travel or leave the county” and it’s so true coming off of all the summer travel. I’m looking forward to being at home, swapping to some fall decor, making soup as it gets colder and cozying up under a blanket.

The 11ft island has so many details we love: the curved corners, reeded wood, ogee edge countertops and the natural stone. She’s such a star ⭐️.

Photo dump of all the interior design inspo I captured from Florence… there was way too much inspo to capture in 20 slides (see last slide!), but here are some of my favorites.

Recurring themes were the use of marble everywhere, arches everywhere, cased doorway openings (marble and wood), marble checkered floor everywhere, interesting ceilings (it’s the fourth wall!) and classic tile with classic trim.

Feeling so grateful for this trip and the privilege of traveling , which is truly the best way to get design inspo.

It’s true… if you saw my camera roll you’d quickly get overwhelmed, confused and wonder why I have so many pictures of the same thing and sometimes the weirdest things 😆. Door hinges or countertop edges anyone? Followed by 38 pictures of my dogs.

All I can say is I love this tile we chose in our client’s daughter’s bathroom. It’s the perfect color and complement to the blue tile we chose on the walls and shower.
