All the cows were Artificially inseminated today. I Hope we have a good percentage take our new future bull hopes it was a complete failure. They were rewarded with a new ungrazed pasture. Yum.

These girls started the A.I process this morning. They will be bred next week to two of the finest Gelbvieh bulls in the country. They were rewarded with fresh ungrazed grasses. Yum.

We are excited to introduce you to our new herd bull. (Assuming he passes all his test) We will AI with some of the best genetics available but like with anything else it’s not 💯. Solomon will take care of the ones that don’t get bred. He is a purebred Gelbvieh with a great pedigree and EPDs and will insure whether our cows are bred via AI or by the bull, they will deliver great genetics to the next generation! He should meet his Harem toward the end of May.
