Biblical Counseling Seeking Christ in your crisis. The goal of Biblical Counseling is to point people to Jesus Christ in the midst of their crisis.

We want to help Christians better understand how to apply the Truth we are given in the Bible. The problems that we face in this life do not take God by surprise. The Bible is full of history, teachings, events and stories that show us the way to live God-honoring lives. (2 Timothy 3:16)

Biblical Counseling provides in-person and convenient online counseling to those who seek Biblical direction

over traditional, secular counseling. Sessions will last approximately one hour and run for 8-12 weeks. Biblical Counseling is owned and operated by certified counselor, John Newsom, ACBC (Association of Certified Biblical Counselors). John believes there is hope, healing, restoration and victory in Jesus Christ.

I am praying for the United States of America. Thankful that God has given us a country where we can freely pursue a relationship with Jesus.
Thankful and honoring the men and women who died at the hands of evil 23 years ago. Praying that their families seek Jesus for their comfort and hope.
Praying for God’s mercy on me and this country. That He doesn’t give us what we deserve. Asking for His grace so another generation can grow up in a land of freedom and pursue true purpose in life in Jesus the Christ.

Thessalonians 5:18
In all things give thanks; for this is the will of God in Jesus Christ for you. -Paul

What Paul is saying here is significantly different than what many present day minds are interpreting. What the world has turned Thanksgiving into is much closer to Thanksforing. The holiday has slipped into what we are thankful for not Who we are thankful to. Let us focus on being thankful to the Creator and not focus on being thankful for the creation.

Happy Thanksgiving to God in Christ Jesus.

Followers of Jesus, with all of the division in our country right now concerning the overturning of Roe vs Wade, we need to remember that those who support Roe vs Wade are not the enemy. Sin is the enemy. satan and his realm is the enemy.

Remember 2 Timothy 2:24-26

The Lord's servants must not quarrel but must be kind to everyone. They must be able to teach effectively and be patient with difficult people. They should gently teach those who oppose the Truth. Perhaps God will change those people's hearts, and they will believe the Truth. Then they will come to their senses and escape from the devil's trap. For they have been held captive by him to do whatever he wants.
