Upon ripping up a layer of ¼ inch plywood and layer of ½ inch plywood, we found this gem. We often find things we don't expect when ripping up floors. Luckily with a combined over 50 years of of experience from flooring to framing to finish work, we can almost always save you the costs of bringing in another contractor. This also speeds up the process!
The block was not even, so we took our time grinding out the back of the plywood to sit perfectly on top of the uneven block. Then we glued and fastened the plywood to the block. Lastly we glued and fastened the Harwood to that section. We then brought in poles that you can adjust the tension to apply pressure allowing the glue to fully set. I think one of our best qualities, is our ability to find solutions to problems most flooring installers would walk away from.
