I'm contemplative this morning ..a dragonfly managed to get in the house ...so of course don't want to hurt it .I spend the 10 minutes catching it -gently- then manage getting it out side ...It flies off...looking great ..in swoops one of the bluebirds and snatches it right out of the air 🙄...there's a metaphor here some where..

Little frustrated tonight ....seems the critters are taking nibbles and popping up seedlings ..and I'm out of repels all 🫤 untill tomorrow ....go around to check my shade garden and someone took the mower a bit to close to the foxglove that's taken me 3 years to establish ..and it was going to bloom this year ...a little pi**ed off tonight .

I am so proud of this plant..lol...that little red berry is 3 years in the making...I planted this currant bush 3 summers ago..and I probably will see an 8th of a cup of currants this season..maybe next year it will be big enough to produce enough for jelly ;)

So....the cutting garden is planted ..I have a few more things I want to plant but I'm still waiting on the seeds to get here .....3 different celosias, probably 6 different types of zinnias (at least), including Florets precious metals and dawn creek peach..also sunflowers, larkspur, bachelor buttons, snap dragons, dara-ami, fever few, calendula, also "love in a mist", painted daisies,....and I'm not done yet...there are close to 60 ish dahlias 😁...
