Man what a day it turned out to be. Received a call about a ceiling collapsed in one of the rental units we take care of. Paul manning came to assist me. Not sure exactly why the ceiling collapsed except that whomever did repairs to the ceiling last time used the wrong nails. Also it’s close to the railroad track and I think the vibration may have caused a problem over time. 2 rafters had cracks also.
We had to go get both trailers, extra clean up equipment and start cleaning up. We will be able to clean and salvage the leather furniture and the tv is just fine.
We will go back next week and put new insulation and Sheetrock in, finish and paint.

Very pleased with the installation of a barn door that one of our clients purchased for his wash room. This white door with frosted windows looks great with all of the other white doors and trim in the home. We took out the old casing and trim to prepare it for this.

Was a busy weekend. Received a text early Saturday am from a tenant in belhaven. A massive tree that appeared healthy fell and grazed her apartment, if it had fallen 2-3 feet closer to the house i believe she would have been crushed. It also flattened a garage and the house behind the property. Tree cutting has started and both properties tarped with roofer looking at repairs next.

Another project completed and well done. Thanks paul and paul Sr for all of the hard work.
The downstairs floor was water damaged so we used sherwin williams flooring to install new glue down laminate. We painted the walls with sherwin williams agreeable grey and trim with their white. We also cleaned the carpets and made all necessary repairs to have it rent ready for tomorrow as promised.
