She’ll be here in spirit today, selling cookies to raise money for her Washington DC trip! This girl is off to a chorus field trip for the day 🎶

She says to all of the wonderful customers who have contributed:
“I can’t thank you enough for helping this become a reality!!!”

Actual conversation with a customer this morning:

“Wait, you only charged me for two 5 gallon buckets, I need three…”

“Oh, I know - it’s just our way of thanking you for your repeated business and encouraging you to keep coming back!”

“As long as I have a wife, I’ll keep coming back!”

We love those honey-do lists! Keep them coming, ladies!!

Hello friends!

We have several volunteer opportunities coming up this Sunday, May 31st, and would love your help as we continue beautifying our community.

We have two sign locations to complete:

The already prepped site at Lewiston Junction and Torrey Road. We only have shrubs to plant at the moment but are hoping to find some native perennials on Saturday. For this site, we need volunteers to plant the shrubs (and hopefully a few perennials) and add a fresh layer of mulch. We may also need to trim up around the base of the tree.

The Route 11 location near the Hannaford entrance will be planted with annuals only. We will likely need some additional soil for this site, and we’d appreciate volunteers picking up a few bags of topsoil and helping with the planting. Ideally, this work can happen while the first site is being finished, so the volunteers handling mulch can head over afterward to mulch the Route 11 bed.

If we have enough volunteers on Sunday, we would also love to begin work on the garden at Poland Provisions! Some of our members have already started collecting red, white, and blue annuals for planting. If you would like to donate an annual or two, we would be so grateful! We may need additional topsoil for this garden as well, and any leftover annuals can be used at the Route 11 location.

Please feel free to reach out with any questions! You can leave a comment or email [email protected]. Thank you all for your continued support and willingness to help make our community beautiful!
