Composed and colorful. We love a comfortable, family-friendly space that doesn't ask you to choose between sophisticated and happy. Case in point: this gathering room invites everyone in the family to kick off their shoes and stay awhile. A hand-knotted Oushak in washed sea blues, with colorful accesnts and warm neutrals anchors the room. It's layered against a green textured-stripe ottoman and finished with white draperies featuring an orange embroidered trim — pattern-on-pattern that works because the palettes play together. Effortless, collected, and made to actually be lived in.

Marble and white oak is a classic combination, and it absolutely elevated this bathroom remodel!

Same bones. Whole new soul.
The previous kitchen left the space feeling underutilized and slightly awkward, with an island that felt more like a barrier than a gathering spot. So we opened it up and let the light lead.

With a brand new layout, lots of storage, beautiful painted cabinets, large white oak island, brass hardware and lighting, new doors to access the outdoors, this same kitchen footprint is now home to Style and Substance.

We love helping our clients transform their homes, creating beautiful, functional spaces. This whole house reno took the old closed-in kitchen and transformed it into an open, light space with a large island and beautiful finishes.
