Phase 2 renovation landscape design installation at Birmingham United Methodist Church was underway today. There are a few more details (perennials) to add later in the week! We replaced the older long serving yews, who had done their time, with deer resistant Blue Princess Holly as a perimeter hedge. We also added four Raspberry Spear Crabapples for vertical structure. White Azaleas surround the small path access to the memorial dedication wall along with Fern, Hosta and Jack Frost Brunnera. Other perennial additions are and will be Gold Bleeding Heart, Rocket Ligularia and a splash of chartreuse foliage color with All Gold Japanese Forest Grass. It is a continued honor to be part of renovating this beautiful peacefully sacred courtyard space.
