Sometimes we serve food, and the story behind it gives you all the feels. ❤️
Last summer, Rural Missouri magazine featured Delectable Delights in their publication. Not long after, a sweet lady reached out to us through that article and became a customer, ordering several of our sweet treats throughout the past year.
Our pasta and Italian meals are typically served at catered events or prepared in larger, family-sized portions, so she and her husband hadn't yet had the opportunity to try them.
Last week, she chose Delectable Delights to prepare a meal including an assortment of pasta entrees and mini cheesecakes for the friends and family gathering after her husband's celebration of life service.
What an honor, and what a reminder that food is about so much more than what's on the plate.
It's about bringing people together. It's about gathering around the table, sharing memories, comforting one another, and making sure the people we love are taken care of.
We are incredibly grateful she thought of us during such a meaningful time. Thank you for allowing Delectable Delights to be a small part of honoring your husband and loving on the people who came to celebrate his life. ❤️
