Here is a two tone kitchen, but this time we used Rustic Alder and a green color. This color is new to Schrock. It is called Retreat. I like to call it the Chameleon color. In different light it changes, sometimes it looks green, sometimes it looks Gray, and other times it can even have a hint of blue. It makes me crazy. I am always up front with my customers and make sure they take a door sample home and live with it awhile before they commit to it. I have sold it a few times and it always ends up looks great. This kitchen belongs to Kurt and Norma Gorham. They did not know Thurmans sold cabinets and had came in for a sink and faucet. Noticed our cabinet display and ended up with a kitchen. I am so happy they trusted us with this purchase. Norma loves her kitchen! We moved the printer into a cabinet with a roll out tray in the island. We also stacked a 6" cabinet on top of the 34.5 base cabinets to give them a taller island.
The countertops are MSI quartz, Pacific Salt. Fabricated and installed by Dominis Stone. The install of the cabinets was done by Shade Tree Home Services, Mark Beall. A huge thank you to the Gorham's !!!!!

Here is a cute little farm house kitchen update. Working with Mary Jendrucko was so much fun. She is so excited with her new kitchen. You can see that she has Natural Rustic Alder for her upper cabinets and Maritime blue for her lowers. When I first quoted her for the cabinets I did not realize that I had only quoted for one of the colors. The second color dropped out. HEART ATTACK!!!! I had to call her and tell her that the price was double what I had quoted and ask her if she would be willing to meet us half way on the pricing. Heart racing, sweating and panicking, I called her. She said I will pay for the whole thing, mistakes happen we are all human. We still gave her a discount because we like to be fair to our customers. Thank you so much Mary!!!!!! I feel like I have a new friend and absolutely love your farm. Cabinet install and tile work was done by Tom Nash. Countertops fabrication and install done by Dominis Stone.

I wish I did as well taking the after pictures as I do the before pictures. This is one of the kitchens that the pictures don't do it justice. It really looks so nice. I am not going to shout to the world who's kitchen this is, but wanted them to know how much we appreciate them as customers. The Sahara stain on the Rustic Hickory is really a rich look. We moved the fridge, did away with the peninsula and added a island. The countertops are quartz installed and fabricated by Dominis Stone. The contractor on this job was Steven Potter from Kapukui Construction. The floors are from Fairchild Floors. As always great to work with everyone.

This kitchen is from a couple years ago, but Wendy Shea just sent me pictures of it finished. It is beautiful. This is the first kitchen I ordered cabinets for, before there was even a house. It did make me sweat a little. I am used to measuring the space myself to make sure everything fits. I had to rely on my scale and blueprints. We did have a couple issues but of course everything came together in the end. A big thank you to Riley Shea for working his magic and building his parents this home. These are Rustic Hickory natural cabinets from Schrock. A huge thank you to the Shea's!!!!!

Every so often I get to work with people that just give off great vibes, down to earth, and easy to be around. Jill and Betsy Fairchild are exactly that! It was really hard for them to think about remodeling their kitchen, as it was the family home they had grown up in. Their dad had built the cabinets and mom had cooked and used the kitchen for years. Memories and more memories. Unfortunately it was time. Jill now has to use a wheelchair and the kitchen was not wheelchair friendly. Hinges were breaking and appliances needed to be changed. We took this opportunity to move appliances. Moved the propane cook top out of the island and put in a freestanding range. We also changed the location of the fridge. The entry to the kitchen was able to be opened up so Jill can now do figure 8's into the kitchen. Ha Ha. We lowered the island and made the overhang of the island across from her sink. This way she can go back and forth from the sink to the island for prep. Its almost time to get that holiday baking into full swing. So many people helped in this remodel. Wayne Stratford was the contractor that did the install. Countertops by Chris Curtis and of course flooring, tile and blinds by none other the Fairchild Floors. These Cabinets are a shaker style, maple, Buckboard color. They are a great wood cabinet with a affordable price. Thank you so much Jill and Betsy!!!!! You guys are awesome.

We are looking for someone to join our Thurman's team. Starting pay is $19.54. Duties include. Checking in and receiving freight, deliveries, keeping warehouse and yard clean, some stocking and helping with customer service when needed. Being able to do heavy lifting and have a valid drivers license is a must. There is a raise after 90 days. Paid vacation after a year. Health Insurance after 90 days. Spread the word.

Again, my pictures don't do it justice. Kathy found this house that has a beautiful creek the runs through the property She can sit on her porch and hear the water. This little piece of serenity meant that she would have to sell her perfectly good house and move into her motor home for the winter with her husband and pets. The house in the perfect location needed a full remodel. Jerry and her worked very hard and luckily let us help with the kitchen. These cabinets are from Shcrock. The color is Icy Avalanche. It is a very light gray that can sometimes look blue. These cabinets with the Pental quartz Misterio countertops and the Awesome backsplash made for a great looking clean, happy kitchen. I love it. The lights on the top of the upper cabinets (color changing) are a fun addition. Can you tell Kathy likes blue? Thank you so much Jerry and Kathy!!! We appreciate you . Enjoy your new home

Here is a garage conversion to a studio apartment. Another awesome job done by Dan and Wyatt Davidson of North Olympic Developers. These cabinets are very affordable. They are from Mantra. They can come assembled or for a little less money you can get them as a RTA. They only come in a few different door styles and colors. They are still all plywood and come with soft close doors and drawers. The countertops are butcher block tops from Home Depot. You can not beat their butcher black tops. As you can see Dan Davidson has a very creative mind and used the butcher block to build shelves countertop supports and window sill. Always fun to Work with Dan. He is very good at working within his customers budget and giving them a great look. I should have taken pictures of the whole studio, but I just got the kitchen. Thank you Dan!

When a customer sends you pictures of her new kitchen two years later. Love this kitchen! This is the second kitchen we have done for the Huling's. This was a new build so I think this will be the last one. The cabinets are from Schrock. The lower cabinets are Alder with a Boardwalk stain and the uppers are a painted white. Counter tops were fabricated and installed by Creative Countertops, Inc. Quartz Arizona Tile Arabescato Como. Thank you so much Laura for sending these pictures and for letting me help you. I am happy you love it.
