v. baras ARCHITECTS Architecture - Residential, Commercial Specializing in Sustainable & Solar High-end Custom Residential, Boutique Hotels, Apartments, Commercial Properties

Your Vision – Our Mission
v.baras ARCHITECTS provides custom residential and commercial design in the tri state area of Sullivan, Orange, and Rockland Counties NY, Pike, Monroe and Wayne Counties, PA and Sussex County NJ. Solar green, energy efficient designs are a significant focus of the firm, an example of which, was a recently designed and built, totally "off the grid" house, integrating PV as

well as solar hot water panels for heating. In a addition to the" off the grid" house, vbA has had home, LEED silver certified, as well as having several homes awarded Energy Star, Silver and Gold certifications. These projects are nearly 45% better than the current energy code requires. At vbA, we believe that our role as architect, is to imbue each and every project with a design sensibility based on our experience and knowledge of the built environment, coupled with a real world understanding of construction. We have no "house" style, we design in a "modern" idiom as well as period additions to Victorian homes. We place our skills at the service of the clients’ vision and dreams, but in all projects we strive to provide, what is really modern : a unique spatial experience. We constantly strive to design projects better than what the client envisions. Better aesthetically, better spatially, better functionally, better emotionally and better spiritually. Hector V. Muñoz-Baras
