Good way to spend the first half of the 4th with some coworkers restoring native biodiversity by ripping out invasive Armenian Blackberries (Himalayan common name misnomer. Rubus armeniacus) and their cousin hybrids leaving the native creeping Blackberries which are amazing (Rubus ursinus).

We then planted one good size Western Red Cedar (Thuja plicata) and Evergreen Huckleberries (Vaccinium ovatum). We hope these keystone native species will give back to the land that gives so much to us.

What’s your favorite flower? Hydrangeas are one of my favorites because their blooms last so long! Unfortunately all the ones in our backyard got burnt this year from all the heat. The ones out front have done well in the shade though.

The Amber Bear Nursery Farm Stand Table has been a community effort for many years and we hope to keep it that way.

It was started on a trust system for folks to pay for plants etc for what they are tagged for. Recently many plants are being taken and then not paid for. Hoping folks can consider supporting this endeavor so we can keep it going. Pay drop on the table or just message us.
