This basement had to be dug out by hand, a foot down, to get it up to code on a flip we worked on in Oakland, California. We started by removing the slab, digging down and then prepping for a new slab to be poured. Looking at the after pictures you’d never guess the amount of work that had to be done to update this basement. Which is exactly how it should be.

Layout is key to renovating a home. It makes all the difference on how to get the most out of whatever space you are working with. Finding a contractor to help make your vision a reality can be quite harder then you would think. We recommend starting with Pinterest to get ideas of what you are looking for. That way you and your contractor can brainstorm ideas together to get what you want but also making sure structurally it can work.

A patio that was never completed and filled with a lot of trash. We removed it all, had a concrete patio poured, and added the personal touches of a sun shade and lights. It is a cozy and homey transformation ready for relaxing.

From outdated to drop dead gorgeous. These clients had recently purchased this home and wanted to do a major remodel before moving in. That’s always the best way.

First we started by ripping out the non load bearing wall between the living room and kitchen. Next gutting the floors, bathroom and kitchen . Then the whole house was painted white making it feel so much bigger, airy, open and of course beautiful. Paint makes such a difference as you see here.

Brand new cabinets and quartz counter tops with a massive 9’ by 4’ island tied together by the eye catching chandeliers. The bathroom had a dark beige one piece insert tub that was torn out to add in this floor to ceiling custom shower. Lastly finishing with bright and airy floors throughout the home tied it all together.

Absolutely beautiful choices and we hope they enjoy their new home.
