Tropical Storm IDALIA is strengthening quickly as it is projected toward the West Coast of Florida and could become a dangerous Category 3 storm.

According to the National Hurricane Center this is estimated to be a MAJOR HURRICANE, which is ranked over a Category 3 rating, with a mix of heavy rains, high winds and damaging storm surge.
