Position: Landscape/ Construction Team Leader

Job Description
As a Landscape/ construction team leader, you will be responsible for the work carried out by your team. Duties may include planning workloads and delegating tasks to your colleagues. You may also be required to carry out practical tasks alongside your team, day-to-day.
The role of a Landscape/ construction team leader may involve the following duties:
* Planning workloads daily.
* Able to go on site for estimate quote as needs.
* Delegating work to team members
* Briefing your team on targets and providing business updates
* Monitoring team performance and carrying out appraisals
* Ensuring work is completed on time, to a high standard and in line with health and safety guidelines
* Taking on aspects of your team’s particular type of work, such as bricklaying, demolition, surveying or administration
* Showing new and inexperienced construction workers how to do the job
* Ensuring workers follow company policy and procedures
Skills need from Team Leadership:

* Understanding of construction projects

* Leadership skills
* Excellent communication skills
* Problem-solving skills and good initiative.
* Lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling from 10 to 80 pounds.
* Standing, walking, kneeling, reaching overhead, and using the body to perform all aspects of landscape work.
* Working outside in ALL conditions.
* Operating machines manual shears, loppers, and hand pruners
* Operating power tools (chainsaws, jumping jack, lawn mower, string trimmer, etc.).
* Ability to work in a team environment providing dedicated support to our customers needs
* Must have a valid drivers license. and be able to drive large trucks (standard and automatic)
Qualifications:
* High school diploma or state-recognized GED
* 2+ year experience in landscape/ Construction project.
* Must have a valid drivers license.
