This stalk snapped in the wind, had to harvest a lil early, but it’s still good!

This is a lil priject I’ve been working on n off past few years. I ended up crossing 2 heirloom corn varieties, hopi blue & oaxaca green, and ended up with these beautiful blue-green cobs that mature in good time. Now I’m trying to cross the kculli peruvian purple corn in to get the purple pigments, and shorten the maturation time of the purple type (it takes a REALLY long growing season). Hopefully we’ll see more purple as the harvest continues. I think I do have a couple full purple/black cobs coming in tho!
