Just give a call at 503.975.2391 (text/email fine too) and tell me what you need. A few photos are perfect too. We agree on a time and walk the project. If you like my time / materials cost estimate you get on my schedule. Pay nothing until you are happy with the results.
I do offer a $20 to $50 hourly rate range that you choose from, as people have very different economic situations, esp in these challenging times. This range let’s me at times fix things for indigent elders and others. I devoted 10 years to building organizations that help make Portland more liveable and sustainable: Community Cycling Center and Growing Gardens. Both still going strong. I carry the same principles here.
You receive a receipt 1) in case you have follow up issues and 2) to claim as a property expense.
ALSO: Pass my name to someone that hires me and I’ll remit 10% of your payment. Karma works wonders.
MY SKILL LIST
YARD RELATED: clean up, remove wood (pruning to chainsaw), haul yard greenery, w**d abatement (hand work, not sprays), ground cover (chips / compost etc), set up compost or drip irrigation systems, set up green house, garden maintenance or build garden beds (low and raised), walkways to your design. I especially love building vertical gardens. I do not mow … anything.
STRUCTURE RELATED: haul items to goodwill and dump, repair dry rot, instal sheetrock, plumbing related tasks (drips to toilet installs), paint; instal lights, switches and insulation, low slope roof (moss removal/ shingle replace ) and chimney work, pressure washing, gutters (replace, clean and leaf guard install).
