Cold weather! 🌨️❄️🌡️

With the temperatures dropping below Michigan's design conditions for furnaces, here are some tips to help you and your furnace make it through.

1- Check and replace your furnace air filter
2- Check furnace vents for blockage. If you have a high efficient furnace, check the exterior furnace vents for any obstructions like snow or ice.
3- Set your thermostat to one constant temperature. Maintain a lower house temperature if possible. (Dress warmer and feel warmer)
4- Seal off drafts, doors, and windows etc.
5- Close your curtains or blinds
6- Use your fireplace or efficient electric space heater to help heat when you're home. (Not the stove or the oven)

Remember yearly maintenance is very helpful for the furnace operation, especially during these really cold temperatures.
