Justin Allred ~ 👏

It’s Monday and that can only mean one thing… it’s time to Meet the Team!

For our very first Facebook post of 2026, we’re proud to shine the spotlight on this sharp dresser — everyone meet Justin Allred, Senior Dispatch Coordinator for Specialty Heating & Cooling! 🧊

We’ve been fortunate to have Justin on our team for 10 years, and honestly, we’re not sure how we’d do it without him. Justin is incredibly bright, quick-witted, and has a knack for keeping everything (and everyone) running smoothly. From juggling schedules to solving problems before they even happen, he’s the calm voice and sharp mind behind the scenes that keeps our days on track.

Beyond his talent, Justin’s loyalty and dedication truly set him apart. He shows up every day with professionalism, humor, and a commitment to excellence that makes our entire team better.

1. What’s your role at Specialty and how long have you been with the company?
Senior Dispatch Coordinator, been with the company 10 years
2. What do you enjoy most about working here?
I enjoy that we’re small enough that we get to know a majority of the employees
3. What do you like to do when you’re not working?
I go hiking, go to the occasional thorns game, and relaxing at home.
4. Do you have any hobbies or hidden talents?
I love astronomy, and occasionally pull out my telescope to look at the Moon (my favorite are the crescent phases).
5. Do you have pets? Tell us about them!
I have 3 pets. Two cats that I’ve had since they were about a week old, named Glioblastoma (we call him Glio for short, he’s a goofball) and Aschzeara (she becomes desperate for attention at 3:00 AM almost routinely), who each love to cuddle up while watching movies. I have a dog named Natsu who loves to bite everything she can, but is terrified of people.
6. Favorite season in Oregon?
I love the fall in Oregon. The light crisp air, the changing of the leaves, and the early nights, especially right before the rain starts to come in and the clear nights show all of the stars we can see.
7. What advice would you give someone starting in the trades?
There’s so much to learn when first beginning, so make sure you listen to tenured colleagues who can show you the ropes.

This week, the spotlight is shining bright on this rockstar team member and leader who has been with us for 10 years! 🤗 Everyone, meet Jake Martinez.

Jake is our amazing Install Operations Manager here at Specialty Heating and Cooling, and he keeps our installation department running like a well-oiled machine.

Jake wears many hats—handling everything from scheduling installs and obtaining permits to making sure all teams are aligned and informed. He plays a critical role in communication once a job is handed off from the sales team to the installation team, ensuring every detail is covered and nothing falls through the cracks.

No matter what curveball comes his way, Jake knocks it out of the park. He always has his finger on the pulse and holds his team to the highest standards because he genuinely cares about the quality of the work and, most importantly, our customers. 👏

We set a goal to collect 100 toys by Monday, December 15th, and so far we’ve gathered 55 — we’re halfway there!

⚛️The smallest details in craftsmanship of a new system can make ALL the difference in it’s longevity and performance.

5. What do you like to do when you’re not working?
🏡🏍️🏌️‍♂️Spending time with my family, playing golf, riding motorcycles, doing art & photography.

6. What’s your favorite local spot in Portland (restaurant, coffee shop, park, etc.)?
🍽️ Two favorite restaurants are Koi Fusion in Wilsonville, and Zien Hong on Sandy Blvd. In NE Portland (the garlic sautéed green beans will change your life…you can thank me later).

7. Do you have pets? Tell us about them!
🐾❤️😻Many! Three cats (Pip, Willis, & Reba McEntire). One hedgehog (Daisy). One hamster (Peanut Gyatt 3000….yes the kids named her). Four fish (Girl Jaw, Rizzler, Trish the Fish, Bluey). One water frog (Frederick). One snail (Deborah).

8. What’s a fun fact about you that might surprise people?
🎸🎶🏆I’ve been to the Grammy Awards….twice!
