This week we celebrate Women in Construction (WIC) Week, recognizing the incredible women who continue to strengthen and shape the construction industry every day. 👷‍♀️

Could there be a more perfect bathroom to highlight on Valentine’s Day? This stunning space features Pratt + Larson Tile with filigree and motif details on pink ceramic, countertops sourced from CaraGreen Healthy Building Materials, and installation and design guidance performed by Level Plane Tile and Stone. The project was designed by Melissa McCall, with Shelbyville Remodeling serving as the general contractor.

The homeowner, Teri, expressed her vision through the eyes of her younger self, telling us: “My vision was for warmth and playful sophistication, inspired by memories of baths at my grandmother’s home. I also love that some of the tile is stylistically reflected elsewhere in the house.”

Happy New Year from the Level Plane crew!

We’re thankful for our team, our clients, and everyone we get to work alongside. Last year was a big one for us, and we couldn’t have done it without the support around us. We rang in the new year together, took a break, ate well, and reset. Looking forward to what’s ahead in 2026!

Level Plane will be hosting another Certified Tile Installer (CTI) testing event at the Custom Tile Solutions store on Thursday, DECEMBER 11TH 2025.

Installers who have signed up for the Ceramic Tile Education Foundation (CTEF) test will complete a written exam beforehand, then take part in the hands-on testing at our location.

All in-person testing modules will be evaluated by Robert Davis, a certified evaluator with years of field experience.

This is a great opportunity for installers to:
-Earn industry-recognized certification
-Build trust and credibility with clients
-Set themselves apart as qualified professionals

Happy New Year from Level Plane! We would like to wish everyone an incredible year ahead full of prosperity and joy. Thank you to all our trade partners, vendors, clients, and friends for all of the support during our major transformation in 2024. We look forward to sharing all the new things we have in the works. Our team celebrated this year at Bear Banya in SE Portland with an amazing spread of food from Roma Russian, hot tea, and spa amenities. Here’s to a fantastic 2025!

All custom tile work in this beautiful 1893 estate. This project features herringbone tile captured by a border, accent strips, handmade tiles, and custom moldings. In the steam shower you can find a rounded ceiling, heated floors, and a hidden tile-in linear drain. All built to last with attention to every detail.

Completed project with Callum Clark of Clarkworks Design. Both bathrooms feature a Tile Bar 24”x 24” matte finish terrazzo looking porcelain. The walk-in showers with tileable linear drains create seamless back walls for a sleek finish meeting with tadelakt walls in the shower. Custom shower pan from Pacific Foam.

Completed project with Green Light Construction featuring 1” hexagon mosaic tile installed in a custom floral pattern. 2“ x 8” subway porcelain wall tiles with a 1” x 12” black gloss liner. Grout and setting materials by Ardex and finished with black Schluter aluminum trim at the exposed wall tile edge. An excellent combination for an approachable & sophisticated design!

Installing this unique fluted marble marked a satisfying achievement for our team. Notice the attention to detail with the precise cuts, intentional layout and placement of the outlets – the pattern in the marble ingeniously mirrors the plate covers and contrasts beautifully with wood accents and artisan ceramics. One of the more challenging installs we have done and we couldn’t be happier with how it all came together.
