Dear Homestead Community,

Today we are announcing the closing of our shop. Our final day will be September 15. During the four weeks before our closing, we will be selling everything we have in stock and will be putting everything on sale as the weeks go by. We will also be posting a ‘resources’ page to direct you to other amazing retailers that carry similar goods.

This is a big decision and clearly not an easy one for Doug and me to make. We have truly loved getting to know our customers and vendors over the past 6 years, and we love the family of employees that have worked and help build this business with us. It has truly been a wonderful 6 years, and we wouldn’t trade this experience for anything!

We do sincerely want to thank all of our customers and community of homesteaders. We have learned so much, and have so enjoyed our conversations over these years. Change can often be challenging, but we look forward to the next chapter of our lives. We will be closing the doors to Portland Homestead Supply Company with nothing more than heartfelt gratitude for the opportunity to meet so many wonderful, inspiring people.
