SkimStone Microcement Workshop
📅 Wednesday, February 4th | 4–6 PM
📍 Brush & Trowel, Portland, OR

SkimStone is a true micro-cement, a trowel-applied concrete veneer that can be used on floors, countertops, and other hard surfaces. It’s extremely versatile and can be applied thin or thick, smooth or textured, depending on how it’s mixed and finished.

In this workshop we’ll demo a sand-added SkimStone application commonly used for countertops and decorative surfaces. You’ll learn how sand changes the look, texture, and coverage, and how small mix adjustments can dramatically affect the final finish.

This is a hands-on demo designed to give you a real feel for the material, its workability, and its potential. Each guest will create and take home their own sample board. $40/person
