🐟June 💌 heART Print Club 💌

✨will be raising funds for✨

🌊The Gulf of Maine Research Institute 🌊

They work on many great initiatives to help preserve and understand the Gulf of Maine, ensuring it thrives and remains vibrant for generations to come. From Climate Change, Ecosystem Health, and Seafood Sustainability, they are working across many areas to protect the Gulf of Maine.

When you ask someone what they know about Maine, one of the first things they will say is Lobster or amazing seafood

And, obviously, as someone who is obsessed with seafood and endlessly inspired by all the ocean contains, I wanted to find a non-profit working to protect our oceans. I wanted to find a non-profit that has amazing programs that support the community and understands the lives of so many who work and live on the ocean here in Maine.

One program my oyster-loving heart was really intrigued by is their Maine Aquaculture Apprenticeship Program. It’s the first of its kind and provides hands-on experience for those interested in a career in aquaculture (I’m not going to say no to supporting more oyster farmers)

✨🎨PAINT NIGHT🎨✨

Join me for a night filled with fun!

Sign-up solo or make it a crafting night out with a friend! ALL are welcome and we can’t wait to create some art with you!

Everyone will receive a medium size short handle L.L.Bean tote bag to paint on. You will have a choice when signing up of the color you would prefer - they will be purchased in advance and ready for you to paint when you arrive on June 10th!

All the art supplies will be provided by New Meadow Designs and instruction/guidance will be given if needed - so from the beginner to the supper artsy pro this is a great event for ALL levels.

You will be able to choose the medium you are most comfortable working with from acrylic paint/markers to watercolors there will be multiple supplies available.

At the end of the workshop you will be leaving with a one-of-a-kind bag that you made! I love doing workshops as I am always inspired by the creativity that everyone brings.

🌊✨A year ago today! ✨🦪

I painted an oyster on my tote bag and it changed a lot of things in my life!

This past year I have learned to not only share my art but to also connect with a community of people that has shown me so much support!
