Not all roofs can be repaired…❓

We often get requests to repair a leaky roof which can often be fixed but sometimes the roof is just too old.

Below is an example of an extremely old roof that when attempting to repair we discovered how dried out the shingles were and they just crumbled in our hands as we began opening it up. Asphalt shingles, like what you see in this picture, have oils and fibers that hold them together and keep the strong and flexible. Over the years the shingles slowly begin to dry out and become brittle(notice the tiny crumbles of shingles below).

Once we identified this roof needed a complete replacement we were able to execute a complete tear off and installed a 40 year shingle within 48 hours! Take a look at that transformation!
