Tyler Evan Brownand I fished out a dropped rod with my 6” DTH on, fell 140. We were switching over from under reaming 6” pipe. while installing our diverter, the rod connects to the hammer under the diverter since the hammer don’t fit through the hole. So we make our conversation then lower the first rod down with the winch, well the top cap gave way and in the blink of an eye out tooling was gone. Went home, brain stormed a little bit and came up with an idea for a tool to grab our fallen rod. Made the tool and went home. Today we woke up ready to get after it and after about a hour of playing with it we got hooked on it. By our surprise our tool worked but not in the way we intended on it working, but I’ll take any kind of win when it comes to recovering tooling. This was all done by sound and feeling.

Day two of under reaming 6” pipe. 120’ down today. Only had a few close calls today, one incident I thought I broke my arm but I didn’t, just hurt it pretty good, other then that day two of running the new rig was good. Tyler Evan Brown

Working in the dark, good thing my rig has lights. We could use a few more lights though. Well competition was 400’ production 25-30 gpm.

Cold weather doesn’t stop me from getting my customers water. This well was drilled 185’ deep, set a screen from 182’-172’ and air lifted 15 GPM. One step closer to building there dream home. I get joy helping my customers move along in there projects.
