Poe Asphalt Paving is looking for a dependable, hardworking individual ready to start a career in the diesel and heavy equipment industry.

No experience? No problem — we’ll train the right person.

🔧 What You’ll Do:
-Assist mechanics in the shop
-Help with oil changes, tire checks & basic repairs
-Keep the shop clean, organized, and safe
-Pick up parts and support daily operations

💪 What We’re Looking For:
-Strong work ethic & willingness to learn
-Reliable and shows up on time
-Able to lift 50 lbs and stay active
-Interest in mechanics or heavy equipment

We had an incredible time representing Poe Asphalt at the KTEC Job Fair this year!

With over 650 students walking through, it was an amazing opportunity to connect with the next generation of our workforce right here in our community.

At Poe Asphalt, we’re proud to support programs like KTEC that are built around real industry needs—helping students explore career paths, understand the importance of strong work ethic and soft skills, and see what opportunities exist in trades like ours.

We loved getting to talk with students, answer questions, and share what a career in the asphalt and construction industry can look like. The interest, curiosity, and engagement from these students was truly impressive.
