Once again, Anabel is first to bloom. Mount Baker and the other early lilacs (syringa x hyacinthiflora) will be blossoming within the week.

Anabel, a fine pink lilac, will be the first to bloom this year. Almost ready to open, on May 5.

The barn on Moore's Hill has been painted, and is looking great. Thanks go to the good work of Chris Willard and his crew at C and C Construction. We still have lilac plants for sale through September (call for an appointment), and we are already planning our 2022 offerings.

Regular weekend hours ended on Father's Day. We are still open by appointment - give us a call at 315-265-1630 and we can set a time for you to visit. While some varieties have sold out, we still have a good selection.

Mount Baker and Pocahontas are two great early lilacs. If you are starting your lilac collection, or adding to a collection of traditional lilacs, an early white and an early purple are a combo to consider. Our 2020 Collection includes two early whites, Mount Baker and Sister Justina, and three early purples, Pocahontas, Old Glory, and Declaratoin.

Katherine Havermeyer is starting to open. One of the spectacular multi-colored lilacs. Two other great multi-colored cultivars are Paul Thirion and Atheline Wilbur. The next week should be fun, seeing all the display garden show its colors.
