Due to poor health, the haunted Fitchett Halloween forest will not be open October 2025

Update!

Due to the horrible weather the evening of Halloween, we were going to call it an early night, but just as we were getting ready to grab the bucket of candy and head in, two cars pulled up and out jumped a handful of teenagers wearing fantastic costumes that reminded me of Tron from when I was a kid. I completely forgot it was cold and raining because their energy was magnificent! A bunch more people came by and I really enjoyed seeing all the costumes and smiling faces.

I am so grateful we live in such a wonderful community with so many amazing people!

As promised, we will be back out and lit up tonight, including a small portable fire pit so I can stay warm, starting at 6 and we will have all the same Halloween night stuff lit up and the candy bowl available to share our remaining treats!

Using my tablet I recorded a video of my walk through the haunt and trail, it is not the best recording but at least you can get get an idea of what to expect.

Sadly no visitors this evening, though we are not surprised. Today and this evening’s weather was not pleasant. Fortunately our extra weather resistant measures are working and everything turned on without issue.

After all the wild weather this week and tons of repairs, We finally opened up our Halloween decorations tonight and only a little late, we had a couple of families come visit and we got some positive feedback. I really hope they weren’t just being nice.

We look forward to having more visitors this week. Happy trick or treating!
