A residential speakeasy, right here in Powell 📍 What can I say? My amazing clients had a vision for their basement — they wanted something that was anything but typical: We transformed what was once a makeshift gym into an escape just for the adults 😉 We made sure there were a variety of lighting options to perfectly set the mood of any given night… So excited about how truly beautiful this project turned out!

A home office for two! Well three, if you count Teddy’s nook! 🐾 Sharing a few iPhone snaps from a personal project we completed on the main level of our home. I had a lot of fun designing this space for me and Tony as we both really needed a dedicated office with lots of storage. And of course, it needed to be super aesthetic, too.

While we completed the office a while back, I have had major analysis paralysis over what window treatments we should add in this room — so I’ve taken a few months to think on it (lol.) It turns out, even designers struggle with indecisiveness (but only when it’s my own home!)

This past week, we completed The Timber Haus, a brand new cabin in the Hocking Hills! Small in size at just 475ft², this tiny cabin is larger than life in character, comfort, and luxury.

Before the build began, I had a full vision designed out in my head for this cabin. Scandinavian coziness, clean lines, and a gorgeous illuminated outdoor space.

The result? The Timber Haus is tucked within a field of wildflowers with a vast forest backdrop. It offers an expansive outdoor area with an illuminated private hot tub, lounge + dining area on the deck, cozy fire pit for stargazing, and indulgent comfort throughout the interior. A king sized bed with luxe bedding, rain shower in the gorgeous bathroom, full coffee bar and tea bar, smart TV in the living room, and Starlink internet to stay connected (but only if you want!) This cabin was designed with our guests in mind, knowing they will enjoy all the curated details we worked tirelessly to perfect.

Tony and I are excited to share that this is our final personal cabin design + build and I will be focusing in on residential and STR design for clients, while continuing to host at our cabins!

This eat-in kitchen space serves as both as both the everyday meal spot as well as the formal dining area, so we elevated the existing table and light fixture by starting over with dining chairs + all ancillary furnishings and decor. There was nothing *wrong* with this space before, but refreshing some pieces gave this room a totally new look that feels beautiful and complete!

A very special part of this job is being hired by repeat clients, which accounts for most of the projects I’m working on this summer ♡

These clients; who have become friends and entrepreneurship mentors, moved into their dream home recently. They wanted to elevate the home through both furnishings and decor, plus adding decorative woodwork throughout. They asked to utilize some of the furnishings and decor we had installed in their previous home, while updating the look to match the gorgeous aesthetic of their new home.

This living room turned out so beautiful and fits the clients’ style perfectly! Looking forward to sharing all the main level spaces that we redesigned!

Easy kitchen updates that make a high impact on overall aesthetic: Counter stools, light fixtures, brass decor elements, and moody oversized floral arrangements.

A kitchen remodel is not on our list of projects in the near future, so we upgraded the above items to change the feel of our kitchen and eat-in spaces!

Welcoming everyone to The Everwoods Interiors, formerly The Home + Haven Co!

With our new name comes new design offerings: We are thrilled to launch our Short Term Rental/Airbnb Interior Design Services nationwide! Most projects will be handled virtually as is typical with vacation rental design. Our Residential Interior Design Services haven’t changed! We will continue to service northwest Columbus for remodel and furnishing design projects.

This expansion of our design business likely comes as no surprise to those of you who have followed along with our other venture, .everwoods, our luxury short term rental properties which we designed and built from the ground up. It felt like the natural next step — offering design services to other short term rental owners and future hosts: Allowing us to share our design roadmap which pairs elevated aesthetics with ultimate comfort for a beyond 5-star guest experience.
