We just wrapped up a special remodel project for an amazing couple who use wheelchairs — and this one really reminded me why I love what I do.

Their home got a full accessibility upgrade:
✅ New, easy-to-navigate flooring
✅ A beautiful roll-in shower for comfort and safety
✅ Dual master bath sinks and mirrors designed at wheelchair height
✅ Widened doorways for easier wheelchair access
✅ Added barn door for easier privacy accessibility
✅ removed walls & doors in bathroom to create more space for wheelchairs going in & out

Every detail was built with independence and comfort in mind. Seeing how these changes made their home more functional — and their daily life easier — made all the hard work worth it. ♿💪

A review below is from our recent client! We renovated their master shower and raised the toilet while adding custom sliding boxes for access to plumbing. In addition, the bathroom closet was widened along with added shelving. A sliding barn door was installed in the entryway of the bathroom to make the opening wider. The bedroom door was widened to the hallway for easier access.

Who doesn’t love a good entertainment space?! Entertainment areas in homes create a central gathering place for family and friends. Sometimes it’s just more fun entertaining guests in our own home versus finding a restaurant or event space to go to!

We installed crown molding with lighting all around. The crown molding helps the room appear taller adding elegance and sophistication to the space. The lighting changes color and is hooked up to the television and speaker system!

Instead of creating the traditional shelving look, we installed built-in shelving. The shelving brackets are adjustable and smooth with the wall, so they don’t stick out. Built-in shelving is beneficial because it maximizes floor space, reduces clutter and can be more robust and stable than floating shelves because they are securely anchored into the wall structure.

Never underestimate the power of good lighting in your home! Great lighting creates depth and height, cozy spots, and draws attention to your most impressive areas. Check out these before and after photos! One of our client’s had tray lights installed with crown molding around the ceiling top. In addition, a shelving space was installed to hide equipment and wires. Isn’t it amazing how much of a difference the new lighting made in these spaces?! It almost looks like a brand new room!

We don’t specialize in decks, but we got out of our comfort zone and delivered a beautifully painted deck as a final result. We are painting the entire interior of a client’s home right now. They requested a fresh coat of paint, but they want the same paint color reapplied!
